Today was a day of firsts: my first uni assignments due, my first time wearing the pieces featured in the outfit above... I even woke up at 6 am this morning for the first time since moving to Melbourne, and did my first yoga practice of 2013.

So, on this day of new beginnings, I decided to get back to the basics of fashion blogging and post the first official Outfit of the Day. Let me hear a 'Yaaaay!!'

As you can probably tell from the aforementioned events, I woke up feeling very inspired, hence the sparkly skirt/crude tee/leather jacket combo. I just wanted to embrace the positive vibes I was experiencing by wearing something fabulous. And I'm glad I did, because I really enjoyed strutting about in floor length silver and an extra set of breasts! I might have to get my confident alter-ego out on a more regular basis... leather jumpsuit, here I come!
